MyF1Status grew from firsthand experience with how difficult it can be to keep F-1 dates, documents, and status changes organized. That perspective shapes the product's focus on clear preparation and practical next steps. It does not make MyF1Status an official or legal authority.
Educational planning, not legal advice
The app and public resources provide general educational information and organization tools. They do not determine eligibility, verify legal compliance, or replace your designated school official, qualified immigration counsel, employer, or a government agency.
A data-minimization approach
MyF1Status asks for information used to personalize timelines, readiness checklists, and Life Event guidance. The core product does not require passport numbers, visa numbers, or SEVIS numbers. Learn more on the Trust & Privacy page.
How educational content is handled
Public guides are written to support planning and are kept subordinate to official government instructions and case-specific guidance. The Editorial Policy explains the source hierarchy, review process, and how to suggest a correction.
